I AM BLESSED

TEXT: Genesis 1:28, Ephesians 1:3 — KJV

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Ephesians 1:3 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

 The blessing of God encompasses various aspects, both in the Old and New Testaments.
 The Blessing of God covers a wide range of areas.
 It can be Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Material, etc.
 The blessing of God is more than what God gives us. It is more of WHAT GOD PUTS or PLACES ON US.
 The pronouncement of BLESSING upon man, was the very first thing God ever uttered to the hearing of man.
 God places The BLESSING upon the man before giving an instruction to him.
 As a result of this Blessing, He commands man to be:
 FRUITFUL: (Be fertile, Be Prolific, Be Productive, Be Creative, Be Rich)
 MULTIPLY: (Increase, Expand, Spread, Reproduce, Extend, Proliferate)
 REPLENISH: (Perpetuate, Sustain, Externalise, Continue, Refill, Restock)
 SUBDUE: (Overcome, Master, Control, Tame, Conquer)
 DOMINION: (Rule, Govern, Reign, Exert Authority, Have Influence over)
 All the above, are offshoots of or a result of the BLESSING which, God placed ON MAN

Proverbs 10:22 – KJV 22 The blessing of the LORD, it MAKETH rich, and he ADDETH no sorrow with it.

The blessing has the propensity, potency, and power to PRODUCE, MAKE or CREATE.
The Blessing also has the ability and power to ADD.
It is not what you have, it is WHAT YOU CARRY.
What you have is a derivative of what you carry.
What you have, is a victim of, a slave of, and at the mercy of what you carry on you.

Psalms 23:5 5 … thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

The anoint was placed on the HEAD but the result was seen in the CUP.

The consciousness of what you carry is a power from within that produces results on the outside. E.g. David and Goliath

TEXT: Gen. 25:5-6 5 And Abraham gave ALL THAT HE HAD to Isaac. 6 But Abraham gave GIFTS to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east.

 Abraham who was blessed by God, now transfers this blessing to his son.
 What Abraham gave Isaac is a blessing…The Blessing.
 The anointing which, can produce the GIFTS he gave the other sons.
 Abraham gave Isaac the totality of what makes him Abraham (who he is)
 Isaac carried this anointing; this blessing and prospered by it.

Gen. 26:1…. There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar.

Genesis 26:12-14(AMP) 12 Then Isaac planted [seed] in that land [as a farmer] and reaped in the same year a hundred times [as much as he had planted], and the LORD BLESSED and favored him. 13 And the man [Isaac] became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and extremely distinguished; 14 he owned flocks and herds and a great household [with a number of servants], and the Philistines envied him.

 Not only did Isaac carry and prosper by this anointing, but He bestowed the same upon his younger son, Jacob.

Genesis 27:28–29 (NIV): “May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness—an abundance of grain and new wine. May nations serve you and people bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may the sons of your mother bow down to you. May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.” This blessing had far-reaching consequences for the descendants of Jacob, who later became known as Israel. It marked the continuation of God’s covenant with Abraham and set the stage for the formation of the twelve tribes of Israel.

THE PROMISE AND BLESSING OF ABRAHAM

Genesis. 12:1-3, 12 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be less believed.

 Abraham went on the strength of this promise and blessing.
 The obedience of Abraham to this promise, unleashed an anointing upon his life which, vetoed every limitation he would ever encounter and set him on a consistent path of victory.
 Abraham became an embodiment of God’s blessings.
 An Epitome of Greatness, Faith, Wealth, Prosperity, divine help, and transgenerational blessings.
 Abraham was so blessed that in him “…shall all the families of the earth be blessed”
 Today, believers (You and I) are called ‘Abraham’s Seed’ which, gives us access to the blessings upon his life in Christ Jesus.

THE BLESSING AT WORK:

God spoke to Abram (later known as Abraham) after his nephew Lot had separated from him. The divine message was as follows:

Genesis 13:14-18 KJV 14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. 18 Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD. These powerful statements conveyed God’s promise to Abraham. It encouraged him to envision the vastness of the land that would belong to his descendants.

The four cardinal directions symbolized the entirety of the territory that would eventually become the Promised Land for the people of Israel. In this moment, Abraham stood on the threshold of a divine covenant—a legacy that would extend far beyond his lifetime. His faith and obedience set the course for generations to come.  The Blessing made Abraham prosperous beyond bounds and borders  The Blessing made him prominent in the land.  The blessing protected him and his household  The blessing preserved him and his possessions  The blessing made him do exploits in the land  He was mighty in the land  Valiant in battle!

Galatians 3:27-29 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have PUT ON CHRIST. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

 To have received Jesus in our life is to have PUT ON Christ
 To have PUT ON Christ, is to have won Christ as a garment
 To have won Christ as a garment is to have been clothed BY HIM
 To have been clothed by Him means we are IN HIM
 To be IN HIM means
 Everything He embodies is ON US  Whether it be PEACE, JOY, HAPPINESS, WEALTH, ABUNDANCE, WISDOM, SOUND HEALTH, PROSPERITY, SOUND MIND, LONG LIFE, FAVOUR you name it.
 ALL THESE are God’s BLESSINGS bestowed upon us because
 We are ‘ABRAHAM’s SEED’ and HEIRS according to the promise.
 Therefore, whatever blessings he had and experienced, we too have in Christ Jesus.

I AM BLESSED! I AM BLESSED!! I AM BLESSED!!!

Genesis 24:1 kjv And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.
Genesis 24:1 NLV Now Abraham was old. He had lived many years. And the Lord had brought good to Abraham in every way.
QUESTIONS:
How do you define or quantify ‘ALL THINGS’
Can one reduce, limit, or restrict ‘ALL THINGS’ to one thing? Or a few things? Certainly not.
Does ‘IN EVERY WAY’ mean one way? or in a few ways? Certainly not.
SO Abraham;  Lived Long and was old  He had a sound health  He was blessed in ALL THINGS  He enjoyed good in EVERY WAY
ABRAHAM HAD;
 Long life
 Sound Health
 Sound Mind
 Good things
 Wealth and Abundance
 Power and influence
 ALL Round Success.

HE WAS BLESSED….therefore; I AM BLESSED!
