Interviewed by Pastor Dre Henderson

13 March 2024

How was your life like before you came to know the Lord?

Adiel was lost and bound, he done drugs, drove taxis and was a womanizer. He says he was involved in gangsterism and done everything that’s wrong.

He says he done wrong by his children and could never fulfill his promises and hurt them a lot. He says he is so glad that he has found God and that his life has changed.

How did you end up changing?

Adiel says he grew tired of the way he was living. One night he got robbed and was beat up bad. He was supposed to go to the hospital but ended up by his daughter’s house.

His daughter said that he must go with her to church, and he said yes. He only realized afterwards that he said yes because at the time he was Muslim.

He enjoyed the church service and could not wait to go back and soon after accepted Jesus Christ as his savior.

How is God using your life today?

Today Adiel is a graduate of the Victory Outreach Men’s Recovery Home. He is also currently in the Men’s Discipleship where he learns more about what it takes to be a man of God.

Testimony of Adiel Francis

A word of encouragement from Adiel:

“I just wanna say to the fathers and the guys that’s married, don’t allow your children to follow a bad example.

Be a testimony for your children, go before them show them how to live life and make sure that you serve a living God.

You have to go to church; you have to have God in your life and don’t be an absent father to them.

Let there be peace and love in your house, goodness, kindness, and joy in a household is really important in a family.

So, if you take it from me, I’m now 58 years old and I lost a lot of those things through drugs and alcohol and abuse.

At the end of the day, you want the best for your kids. So, you have to lead by example for all those things. It’s only through the strength and power of God that you can do it. God is the only one.”
