HISTORY OF VICTORY OUTREACH INTERNATIONAL
Since their humble beginning in 1967, Victory Outreach has grown from one church to a worldwide network of over 700 churches and ministries, with locations across America and in 30 countries from the Philippines to the Netherlands.
They have grown into one of the largest inner-city ministries in the world meeting the needs of people from all walks of life.
For over 50 plus years, Victory Outreach has trained and equipped men and women to reach their full potential in life, whether it is establishing a church, building a career, or growing and nurturing a family.
Hearts changed in Cape Town 15 years ago the ministry of Victory Outreach entered South Africa specifically the city of Cape Town, and because of the overwhelming need in the areas of drug addiction and gangsterism, it only took a few months and Victory Outreach was exploding.
The vision of the ministry was a perfect fit for the challenges that were taking place in the townships and city of Cape Town.
Men and women were coming into the recovery homes by the dozens and experiencing the power of God.
Delivered from their lifestyles
They were being delivered from their lifestyles and their families were being restored.
From the time Victory Outreach began in South Africa until now, the ministry has expanded and spread out to different cities; noticing that the same needs that were encountered in Cape Town are also prevalent in many of the cities around South Africa.
Drugs and gangsterism are an overwhelming epidemic in our cities today.
This epidemic of drugs and gangs have the potential to destroy our youth and their families.
The ministry of Victory Outreach has been given the mandate from God and the anointing to make a difference.
Free recovery homes
The Ministry of Victory Outreach is currently established in 8 locations within the country of South Africa: Cape Town, Mitchell’s Plain, Johannesburg, East Rand Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Wynberg, Port Elizabeth & Pretoria.
Each church has a free recovery home.
Victory Outreach International works cooperatively together with those of mutual purpose to accomplish the task at hand and are excited to continually expand throughout the country of South Africa.
