Testimony of Jayde Solomons

Interviewed by Pastor Dre Henderson

28 February 2024

How was your life like before you gave your life to the Lord?

Jade says that before she came to know God, she used to compare herself to others. She says she compared her relationship with God, to others’ relationship with God and says that because of this she would pretend to keep up appearances.

Jayde Solomons Testimony

Jade did not realize that a relationship with God does not have to look one way. When she looks back on her life, it looks purposeless because she did not know where she was going.

How did you end up changing?

Change became evident for Jade when she joined Victory Outreach. At Victory Outreach she says that she felt loved and welcome.

She watched how they encountered God, and these people were all young like herself. Jade says that she wanted to have the peace that they seemed to have.

She thought to herself that the reason why they have peace must be because they know God and thus, she desired that and came to know God. She says that when she called out to God, God drew close to her.

How is God using your life today?

Jade is currently serving part of the media team in church and has really developed a love for media. She also joined a ministry called Third Wave Navy where they showcase their talents and share their talent to reach people.

A word of encouragement from Jayde Solomon:

“If you are a high schooler or even younger or older and you're dealing with what I dealt with, with comparison to other people’s belief, with being lost and confused.

I just want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord because in His word it says in Deuteronomy 4 verse 29 but from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.

So I just want to encourage you to keep seeking Him and you will find Him and He's waiting for you He is waiting for you to find Him.

He's waiting for you with loving arms and I just wanna say when I say seek him, I don’t mean in friends. I mean seek Him in His word, seek Him in the Bible.

Talk to Him, try to talk to Him and you will find Him and when you do you'll feel different and you'll feel loved and you'll feel like you have a purpose because He has a a plan and a purpose for your life so I just want to encourage you to not give up and don't lose hope and continue seeking him because you will find him.”
